AIR Tests

ELA testing has been completed.  Congrats to our ELA teachers.  Thank you for your hard work preparing our students.  

This week begins Math testing.

Reminder:  Supplemental Contracts are approved year to year.

No one is guaranteed to have a supplemental each year.  You must apply.

If you are interested in a supplemental, apply.

Tested area teachers, Roster Verification opens up on 4/8.

Please complete this for each of your classes.

PLC Schedule Change 

For this week, I need to make some changes to the PLC schedule

6th Grade-  Thursday 2nd period

7th Grade-  Tuesday 8th period

8th Grade- Monday 8th period

*  CTE team, please cover 7th grade classes on Tuesday instead of 8th grade

**  CTE team, please cover 8th Grade classes on Monday 8th period so the 8th grade team can meet with me.

Outside

Do not take students outside unless you talk to me.

I will ease up on this once we get done with testing.

Dodgeball Game

Thank you to everyone that played in the PBIS dodgeball game.  Kids were engaged and well behaved in the stands.  Special thanks to Joe and Brett for officiating the game.

Dodgeball Game

Our 3rd Quarter PBIS End of the Quarter Activity will be Dodgeball.

We will have a few  student vs student games, and end the assembly with a Students vs. Staff game.  

We will need staff members to play.

Tornado Drill

Our first Tornado Drill will be Wednesday during Homeroom.

Reminder:  everyone must be on the first floor and "assume the position" for the tornado drill.

Please keep kids quiet during the drill.

On Monday, we will be having an optional activity for students in the Gym 8th period.  PBIS team members will run it.  

I will come on announcements at the beginning of 8th period and ask students "If you want to show resilience, please come down to the gym".  

Teachers, please stay in your rooms with any students that do not want to come to the gym.

Congratulations to Vanessa Rockwell for winning the coveted "Last Teacher Stuck at Conferences".  She was stuck talking to a parent well after the rest of her team was out of the building, driving home.  Way to go Vanessa!
